Genre: Fiction- Adult: Paranormal Erotic Romance
How I got it: Received a copy of book from author via CBLS book tours.

Under the light of a full moon and lurking in the restless waves of the deep blue sea, someone or something watches a ship cutting through the dark waters. Insurance fraud investigator Kate Hargrove is looking into the disappearances of women from a cruise line. She soon “disappears” herself when pulled undersea by a giant sea creature. Now, this beauty is trapped beneath the sea with a desperate beast. 100 years ago, Thaddeus Ryker was cursed and banished to the ocean depths. He has only three more days to find someone to love him in his monstrous half man/half sea creature state or he’ll spend eternity as a monster of the sea. When her terror subsides, Kate realizes she’s both attracted to and repulsed by Thaddeus. As she gets to know him, she discovers a sexy, haunted man. Can she learn to love him – a monster – in just three days?

Review: First thing I've got to say is this is hot, like need ice to cool off after hot. The blurb sounded so good I over looked the heat level and just jumped on it. I wasn't disappointed. This is a great love story. Kate doesn't think she can love, at all. So when she's taken by Thaddeus and told he basically has three days to make her fall in love with him. Well she figures he's toast, but is willing to try. Her heart goes out the this cursed man, beast... poor soul. I have to admit I really liked Kate's willingness to see passed Thaddeus outward appearance and to the tortured soul inside.
You do have to suspend your believes a little, because most the book takes place in an underwater cave deep in the ocean with basically an air bubble in it. But hey Thaddeus is half man half giant squid so there's got to be a little magic in the air. The end of the book left me twisting in my seat as it gets a little dicey for them, and I kept wondering if Ms Simone was going to do something unforgivable which would have made for an interesting end but would also irk readers. I won't say any more because I don't want to give to much away.
For me it was a short read, and a bit hotter than my usual fair but still enthralling.
