Sometimes Rest in Peace isn't an option...

Kacie Ramsey sees ghosts—and it's ruining her life. Her mother left, her father blames her, and no matter how hard she tries, she can't keep the ghosts away. Now a new power has emerged. Nightly visions of grisly murders and a relentless predator draw her to the brink of insanity.

When the phantom appears at a party, Kacie's longtime crush, Logan, saves her. He invites her to join the Orion Circle, a group of supernatural hunters with chapters in schools all over the country. Through the Circle, Kacie learns to embrace her spiritual powers, and for the first time in her life she feels in control rather than a victim.

But the Foxblood Demon will not give up so easily. A demented serial killer in life who trapped the souls of the thirteen children he murdered, imprisoning them within the walls of his mansion. Now in death, he plots his return while drawing power from the pure souls of the children. He recognizes something in Kacie he's never seen before—a medium powerful enough to provide a vessel for his tainted soul.

Kacie can't ignore the tortured souls of the children crying out to her every night. With Logan at her side, she will fight the Foxblood Demon. But can they banish this powerful phantom, or will Kacie lose not only her body, but her eternal soul to the monster.

Review: Kacie can see ghosts, to her this power is nothing but trouble. It's cause her mother to abandon her and sever ties. She has to hide it from her friend of be labeled a freak, basically she wants nothing to do with it. So whats a girl to do when her crush, can also see ghosts? Logan knows what Kacie is going through and is willing to help, bring her into his world.
I really liked the idea of the Orion Circle, a group of teens and adults studying the paranormal and helping those with powers like Kacie. As Kacie embraces her gifts, she starts having dreams of kids who have been murdered.  Which leads them to Foxblood manor, and the terrors it holds.
I liked Kacie, while reluctant she takes to her powers well, once she realizes she not as strange as she thinks. I also liked Logan, how he was protective of  Kacie and willing to help her even though she was a bit standoffish at first. I enjoyed the chemistry between Kacie and Logan, as well as how their relationship budded. I liked the supernatural aspects of the book, and was swept up in the plot.
There were a few things in the book that made me go um, not cool. Like the cowboy spirit that was in Kacie's house, before she had it blessed. The plot was fast paced and interesting. I enjoyed the clues and how everything came together. Over all a fun and enjoyable read.
