Sunday Cup of...

Welcome to Sunday Cup of... grab your favorite beverage and visit with me for a bit.
Sunday Cup of... is a combination post featuring,
The Sunday Post Hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?  Hosted by Book Date
and the Book Blog Hop hosted by Ramblings of a coffee addicted writer.
I share my week, what's going on around the blog, and what books I'm reading or have finished.

The weather has been horrid here, negative temps with high winds and snow. Ugh!
It's been another rough week which I'm not going to get into, I complain enough on here, but I do see a sliver lining. I have a job interview Friday, hopefully the weather and vehicle will cooperate so I can actually get to it. I'm extremely nervous on many levels which is just adding to my stress. I guess I'll just take it one day at a time.

I'm all caught up with Season 7 of The Walking Dead and I don't know what to say. Maybe we'll see a comeback...

I've started watching Season 2 of Fear the Walking Dead. I'm not crazy about it and I find the cast kinda annoying but it's something to put on in the background to listen to.

Book Blogger Hop
I will also be joining the Book Blogger Hop hosted by Ramblings of a coffee addicted writer. Every week they will pop a question that you answer. Post your answer to your blog, and enter your post to the linky provided. Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy.

This weeks question:

What is your favorite holiday beverage to drink while you're reading? (submitted by Billy)

Hmm holiday beverage well I like to take hot apple cider and mix in butterscotch schnapps. It tastes like a caramel apple. So good. But I only drink it once and a while, around Christmas. It's a nice way to relax and unwind.

So that's it for this week, hope you'll stop by next Sunday. Have a great week!

  1. I don't usually drink, but butterscotch schnapps that tastes like a caramel sounds tempting.

ENJOY your day and upcoming week.

    Happy Hopping!!

  2. We've got the wind and cold temperatures (although not as cold as yours--it's 41F right now). Definite jacket weather. We don't get the snow, thank goodness, although we do get rain and ice. Luckily no flooding this time around, thank goodness. Good luck with the job interview! I hope the weather and your car cooperate.

I liked the mid-season finale of The Walking Dead--and like you, am hoping this means a come back is coming. It was a tough first half of the season. I am up to date with Fear and can still say I find the characters annoying. LOL I am not sure about that show. And yet I probably will watch it again for the third season.

I am not sure what it is, but I have never liked hot apple cider. I like anything apple cold, but heat it up and I don't. Isn't that weird?

I hope you have a great week!

    1. I'd love 40's right now, your lucky on the snow not so much the ice. Thanks. I know a lot of people aren't crazy about hot apple cider so nope, not so weird.

  5. Oh my that drink sounds festive and delicious! It would never occur to me to add Schnapps to cider but yum! I'm all about my gingerbread coffee here lately.

  6. It's been rough here too weather- wise although we haven't really had negative temps, just 20's and sometimes less and a bit of snow. Cold enough though ha ha! And sorry it was a rough week. I hate interviewing (who doesn't right?) so wishing you lots of luck and no stress this week hopefully. :)

I still have to watch the midseaon finale of Walking Dead but I'm hoping for a comeback too.

That drink sounds good, cider and schnapps yum lol.

  9. You might think I'm crazy, but I sure would love to get some snow and cold temps! Lol. It's just that 80-degree temps and no snow is definitely NOT my idea of 'Christmasy' weather!

CONGRATS on getting an interview!! That's WONDERFUL news!! I hope you get the job!! I know you're nervous and stressed, which is only natural, especially if you haven't gone on an interview in a while. Just breathe, relax.... I know, easier said than done, right? Well, you can also have a meditation session before you head out to that interview. And, if you're into prayer, that can do no harm. I wish you the BEST of luck!! You go, girl!!

I only wish I had left a rotten job I used to be stuck in, when I had the chance. Instead, I stayed and stayed....and was TOTALLY miserable. They finally ended things for me, and you know, I'm much happier now! I'm working part-time, which means less money, but, as I work for the county (I teach ESOL in the Adult Ed. Program at night), the salary isn't too bad. And I get along GREAT with my students and fellow teachers!

Hope to hear good news about this interview very soon!! :)

As for your BBH answer, I like your choice of holiday beverage! I've never tried that before, and am definitely going to!

Hope this week goes much better for you!! :)

Sorry about the late comment back....and thanks for dropping by and commenting on my own BBH post!! :) :) :)
