Review: So when TSHTF if I had to pick one thing to take with me, it would probably be this book or a machete. Both would be super useful to have.
First impression this is a cook book, but this book is so much more too.  Yes the book has recipes, but it's also a survival manual. From making a cook stove to entomology (growing and eating bugs) this book has it all. It's written in an informative and fun way, poking fun at the apocalypse while giving us a way to survive should zombies start running amok. The book also covers before TSHTF preparing yourself for Z-Day. Learning how to grow your own food, hunting, canning, stocking up, and a lot more. It gives lots of tips on scavenging where and how to find all the things you'll need to survive the Z-poc. Even how to make those MRE's eatable, let me tell you some are ok and some ugh!
In all seriousness the book is a great source of information. Even if you're just lost in the woods, without the threat of zombies, the skills you can take from this book are worth it. I really enjoyed reading this and feel it's a great addition to my survival/ zombie/ cook book collections. Although my family might get a little peeved if I started feeding them mealworm fried rice or squirrel jerky.
