Teaser Tuesday

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
Grab your current read
•Open to a random page
•Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
•Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My teaser this week is from A Ghostly Undertaking by Tonya Kappes.
"A few minutes later, I and my little stash from Granny's attic were in the hearse and pulling up to the funeral home. I had to get the loot in before anyone saw me, but it was too late."

  1. Hmm, what kind of stash would one bring to a funeral home and why wouldn't she want anyone to see it? Great teaser!

  2. Sounds like it could be either a mystery or a romance. Enjoy

  3. I wonder who saw her? Great Teaser. Here is mine

  4. I remember this scene. I had a lot of fun with this book. With this series!

    My TT -

  5. Oh that sounds interesting what is she trying to hide? Here is my TT

  6. Sounds rather intriguing!

  7. Between the cover and tease, I would definitely pick this up. Sounds like a fun read.

  8. Loot to a funeral home? That certainly raises questions in my mind. The teaser on my adult blog today is from Deadly Obsession by Maggie Shayne. Happy reading!

  9. I love that tease, and the cover just draws me in. Looks like I'll be adding to the TBR pile today. Great teaser :)

  10. INteresting, most people would be concerned of getting loot out!

Here's a link to my teaser taken from Alice and the Fly:

  11. That made my ears perk up. Great tease. Here's mine:
