#FitReader Weekly Update

I'll be sharing on...
Weekly Wrap hosted by HoHo Runs and MissSippiPiddlin
and linking up with Sunday Fitness and Food Linkup hosted by Ilka from Ilka’s Blog and Angela from Marathons & Motivation

First off thank you to every body for their thoughts and prayers, we got the results back and the tumor is not cancer but needs to be removed before it becomes cancerous. We're looking into specialists to see what our opinions are, since it's in a tricky to operate location.

Now on to our regularly scheduled posting...
This week was a little rough, the cold is still hanging on and I wasn't doing as good time wise as I would've liked. I know I need to give myself some slack, but it's frustrating. I've cut back my runs to give myself a little extra time to adjust and it feels a little like I'm starting over. I'm kind of glad I didn't have an exact race in mind as this gives me some leeway.

I'm adding an extra goal for this month and that is to eat at least 2000 calories a day, I'm keeping track on FatSecret. Getting enough calories in me is something I really struggle with. I'm supposed to get around 2600 calories a day, and I'm usually burning a good deal of that at work.

February Goals:
Keep up with Marathon training plan: 3/5
Strength training once a week: 1/7 this week.
Eat healthier: 7/7
Hit at least 2000 calories everyday: 0/7
Walking to Mordor: 49.51 /1779 miles

Here's what I did this week...
1/28/17: Ran 3.36 mi in 34:59 min
1/29/17: Ran 3.59 mi in 38:51 min
16 mins Bloglaties Triceps toner & Yoga
1/30/17: Work
1/31/17: Work
2/1/17: Work
2/2/17: Work
2/3/17:  Ran for 37:09 mins but have no idea how many miles because my phone wasn't recording steps right.

  1. The weather is just blergh. I am fortunate enough to have an open floor plan house so I can at least do some brisk walking inside.

    1. Yup, before my treadmill I used to run up and down the stairs.

  2. First time doing the link up nice to meet you! Hope you have a good week

  3. It's hard to be motivated when it is cold. Glad you got some good news about the tumor this week. Knowing it is not cancer must have been a huge relief.

    1. Thanks, Jen. I think so this one is more flexible.

  5. That is wonderful news about the tumor. I hope you are feeling better this week. It may seem like you are starting over, but I think you'll be surprised how quickly you return to your normal running routine and pace. Thanks for linking, Shandy Jo!
